Description:

KAMSC ASTRONOMY (H) A college level course that covers introductory astronomy, astrophysics, and planetary science. Includes an extensive overview of the tools of amateur and professional astronomers. The focus of the course is on observational astronomy with extensive field exercises. Students have access to high-quality telescopes and off-site observational work will take place at the Kalamazoo Nature Center.
